French Tart

This is a health tonic!

The French Tart cocktail is a relatively modern creation, emerging in the mid-2010s. Its exact origins are somewhat elusive, but it appears to have been popularized by cocktail enthusiasts and bloggers exploring innovative flavor combinations. The drink artfully combines vodka (or gin), elderflower liqueur (such as St. Germain), freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and a hint of rosemary-infused simple syrup. This blend offers a harmonious balance of sweet, tart, and herbal notes, resulting in a refreshing and sophisticated beverage. The name “French Tart” is a playful nod to its French-inspired ingredients and its delightfully tangy profile.
