History

The illustrious holiday of Boozemas was born out of pure desperation and a desperate need for something, anything, to do during the endless COVID-19 lockdowns. As people were forced to stay home and away from their beloved bars and restaurants, they turned to the ancient art of home mixology as a way to pass the time and drown their sorrows.

And thus, Boozemas was born. Hailed as the ultimate excuse to drink heavily and try out elaborate cocktail recipes, Boozemas quickly gained a devoted following of people who were willing to do just about anything to break up the monotony of lockdown life.

As the pandemic dragged on and on, Boozemas became a fixture of the holiday season, with people gathering virtually or in small, socially-distanced groups to share recipes, tips, and their love of getting trashed at home. And even as restrictions began to ease and people could once again go out and enjoy their favorite bars and restaurants, the tradition of Boozemas lived on, with many continuing to celebrate the holiday as a way to forget about the outside world and just drink their troubles away.

So cheers to Boozemas, the holiday that brought us all together in the midst of a global crisis, and may it live on forever as a testament to the human ability to find joy in even the darkest of times.
