Whiskey Sour
The Whiskey Sour officially dates back to the 1860s, but sailors in the British Navy had been drinking something very similar long before that. ”
Ingredients
- 2 oz. whiskey
- 3/4 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 2 or 3 drops Angostura bitters
Instructions
- Combine ingredients and shake without the ice. Shake for 60 seconds.
- Add ice, shake again for 30 seconds
- Strain and drop bitters on top.
Garnish
Garnish with a lemon twist.
